Shivamogga: The state government has appointed Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat CEO, N. Hemanth, as the acting Registrar of Kuvempu University. This comes after the transfer of the previous Registrar, A.L. Manjunath.

A.L. Manjunath, a KAS officer, was transferred following an order issued on Tuesday. To fill the vacant position, the government has directed N. Hemanth to take over the additional responsibility as the Registrar.
