Shivamogga: Expensive branded liquor bottles of 21 different varieties were stolen from a wine shop after the thieves forcibly opened the rolling shutter. The incident occurred at Channambika Wines in Gopala.
On the night of October 4th, the shop owner had locked the door and left. The next morning, owner on a walk noticed the rolling shutter had been pried open. Upon inspection, it was discovered that 21 types of expensive liquor bottles had been stolen. The complaint also alleges that the shop’s CCTV DVR was stolen.
21 Varieties of Branded Liquor
The stolen branded liquor includes Royal Salute, Chivas Regal, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Amrut Fusion, Black & White, Don J Tequila, Johnnie Walker, Black Dog, Dewar’s White Label, Rampur Single Malt and 11 other brands, totalling 21 varieties. The estimated total value of the stolen liquor is ₹1.49 lakh.
A case has been registered at the Tunga Nagara Police Station.
