BHADRAVATHI: A man was attacked with a sword inside his house here after he questioned a youth for harassing women and girls.

Sources said the accused used to misbehave with women on the street. He also forced young girls to share their Instagram and Facebook details.
The victim and his friends had warned the youth to stop this behaviour. Angered by this, the accused barged into the victim’s house and attacked his neck with a sword. The victim escaped serious injury by moving away in time, but suffered a deep cut near his left eyebrow.
The accused fled when locals rushed to help. Paper Town police have registered a case and are investigating.
