SHIVAMOGGA: A cobra hiding inside a parked two-wheeler caused panic among locals at a plantation in Holebenavalli village. A well-known snake catcher later rescued it safely.
The incident happened when farmer Durgappa parked his motorcycle near his farm, where excavation work was going on. A cobra came down from a nearby mud mound and crawled into the bike, looking for a hiding spot.

The worried owner immediately called Shivamogga’s popular snake rescuer, Snake Kiran. Kiran rushed to the spot and carefully pulled the cobra out of the vehicle. He later released it back into the forest.
Snake Kiran said ‘snakes often look for dark, hidden spots like firewood piles, gunny bags, or vehicles to rest. He warned people never to chase or hit snakes on their own, as it can be dangerous.’ He added that ‘snakes are helpful to farmers and should be protected to keep nature in balance.’
