Shivamogga: A street dog attacked a staff member who was conducting a social and educational survey in Shivamogga. The injured employee received treatment at the McGann Hospital.

The dog attack occurred on Umarani, a First Division Assistant from Government High School, Abbalagere, while she was on survey duty in the Ravivarma Street and Azad Nagar areas of Shivamogga. The dog bit her left leg, causing bleeding. Despite the injury, Umarani completed her census work before going to the McGann Hospital for treatment.
