Soraba: Villagers rescued a deer that had strayed from the forest into human habitation in search of food and handed it over to the Forest Department officials. An incident occurred in Tavanandi village of the Taluk.
A female deer, estimated to be about four years old, had headed towards the village in search of food and water. At that moment, a pack of dogs chased the deer, attempting to attack it. The villagers immediately chased the dogs away and rescued the deer. Forest Department personnel arrived at the scene, examined the deer’s health, and subsequently released it back into the forest.
