Shivamogga: Authorities, led by Shivamogga Sub-Divisional Assistant Commissioner Satyanarayan, raided an illegal sand stockpile near Ragigudda in Kuvempu Nagar and seized 25 loads of sand.
The sand was illegally stored in a vacant plot in Kuvempu Nagar. Following credible information, a team of officials conducted a raid and inspection, leading to the discovery of the large quantity of sand.
Tahsildar Rajiv, Shivamogga Rural Police Station Inspector Satyanarayan, and officials from the Mines and Geology Department participated in the operation.
