Speaking as the chief guest, veteran actor-director V. Ravichandran emphasized that a household celebrates Dasara every day if mothers, wives, and daughters are treated with love and respect. Reflecting on his personal journey, he credited his father Veeraswamy for teaching him dedication and courage, while his mother provided unconditional love.
He expressed deep gratitude to political stalwarts who supported him during tough times, including former CM S. Bangarappa for granting 100% tax exemption during the release of Shanti Kranti, B.S. Yediyurappa for offering solace when his mother passed away, and Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar for visiting his home recently.
Announcing his ambitious upcoming film I Am God featuring 30 songs, Ravichandran expressed his desire to tour every corner of Karnataka and offered to make a film capturing Shivamogga’s rich culture. Notably, a special Dasara anthem composed by Ravichandran in just 2 days was performed by Bhadravathi child artist Inchara.
