Shivamogga: A woman was brutally murdered with a sharp weapon. The incident took place last night in Siddeshwara Nagar of Dummalli, Shivamogga Taluk. The deceased woman has been identified as Gangamma (45).
It is suspected that Gangamma was murdered due to an old rivalry. The police have taken two individuals, Nagesh Naik and Harish, into custody in connection with the incident and are currently interrogating them. Gangamma’s body has been sent to the mortuary at McGann Hospital. A case has been registered at the Tunga Nagar Police Station.
